Exploring MakerSpace with 3D XYZ Printing

This workshop will help you understand how 3D printing is being applied across many domains, including design, manufacturing, and retailing. This workshop will also provide an overview of design thinking and how you can use this framework to develop ideas that can be turned into objects. In this workshop participants will obtain a rich understanding of the capabilities of 3D printing and how to think about designing objects for this new technology.

Explore Digital Science Labs for AP / IB / NGSS / Key Stage 4

What qualifies an experiment for use in advanced secondary science programs? We'll discuss the characteristics of effective experiments as we perform probeware labs from PASCO's series of advanced lab manuals for biology, chemistry and physics.

Whatever the computing technologies used in your science lab, PASCO's SPARKvue software provides the same probeware experience across platforms. In this hands on session, we'll use tablets to collect and analyze engaging data from our line of affordable Wireless Sensors.

The Robotics Continuum using Tetrix Prime and Pulse

An opportunity to see how ATLAB's Robotics continuum is taken to the next level with this superb metal construction solution. Program in either the LEGO Education MINDSTORMS software or connect Pitsco's new controller'Pulse' and programme in Ardublockly, a new add on to the Arduino environemnt.

Explore how to implement STEAM sessions through the creative use of  3d printed design using Tinkercad, an online 3D printing software. This is a great starter for both 3D printing novices as well as designers with existing modelling skills that want to enter the 3D printing Olympiad.
